My family when someone wakes up before anyone...
Me: Tips toes quietly through the house, trying not to make a sound.
Everyone else: Let me just stomp throughout the house, slam a bunch of doors, and bang some pots together in the kitchen, I'm sure no one will mind.

you know what sucks about growing up?
realizing there is no magic
because then you really see that NOT everything is possible
and you see that not everything pays off in the end…
and sometimes,
no matter how bad you want something, even if you risk everything, you just can’t win. & it’s not your fault, but it kind of is.
